How the eggs work?

I'm not going to give you an abstract about the life cycle or a history lesson full of of scientific jargon about the reason why salmon bite on eggs. The bottom line is that they smell the eggs and if it is on their nose they may stop it, or give it a chomp if they like the flavor at that moment. The colors are not all that important because as the eggs get deeper the color saturates darker. Typically super bright colors are strategically suited to capture the angler--moreso! These kings in this clip liked the eggs so much they literally chased after them.
